J. Gonsiorek has been our Organist at Queen of Martyrs since July of 2013. He
brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in Liturgical Music and Organ
playing dating back over 40 years.
He began his career at his original home Parish of St. Hyacinth in Lackawanna. In 1980 John received his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Florida State University. A proud accomplishment was creating a “Gift for all Seasons”, a record album of liturgical music he directed with the St. Hyacinth’s Men’s Choir. He has held numerous Organist and Choirmaster positions in the Western New York area. For years his forte has been to inspire Catholics to sing by selecting popular hymns with good musical settings. |
